SKYLINE CORPORATION COMPANY PROFILE
Founded in 1951 in Elkhart, Indiana, Skyline initially produced the affordable
housing units popularly known as house trailers or mobile homes. These units evolved into today's manufactured housing. In 1960, we opened our first travel trailer plant. During our 49-plus years of operation, Skyline has built approximately 830,814 homes and 417,418 recreational vehicles (RVs), most of them travel trailers. Our sales over the years total nearly $12.7 billion.
Skyline takes pride in designing and building products of outstanding value. These are marketed nationwide through independent retail dealers. We are committed to satisfying the needs of customers by producing the best products at the best prices. We support each product with a service program that puts the customer first.

Corporate headquarters are in Elkhart, Indiana. It houses marketing, accounting, data processing, research and development, financial, legal and other corporate functions. Products are built by 24 operating divisions located in 12 states across the country. 19 of the divisions produce manufactured housing and 6 produce RVs.

HOUSING PRODUCTS
Skyline builds two types of manufactured homes which are sold under a number of identifying names. The single-section models emphasize affordability and frequently are sited in specially developed manufactured housing parks. The multi-section models are also very affordable and in appearance they are almost indistinguishable from site-built housing. Many are sited on conventional residential lots. Independent third-party oversight of our home design and construction is provided by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL), America's most respected authority on product safety and reliability.
RV PRODUCTS
Skyline builds three types of towable RVs: Conventional travel trailers, fifth wheel travel trailers and park models. The principal brand names for these products are AljoŽ, LaytonŽ and NomadŽ. All Skyline RVs are UL classified.
DISTRIBUTION
Skyline products are sold across the country to manufactured housing dealers and RV dealers. The dealers then sell the products to retail customers. In some cases, the housing dealers also are developers who sell home-land packages in residential subdivisions.
SERVICE
Skyline provides a one-year no nonsense warranty on all of our housing products and a 2-year warranty on RVs. Skyline's warranties are backed by a customer-oriented nationwide service program that is considered a model for U.S. manufacturers.
